  Once you turn the ignition on and step on the brake to shift into gear, the remote starter will automatically turn off, but the vehicle will remain running with the key (you don't have to restart the vehicle with the key.)
   
• Brake Pedal Monitoring for Security: If you step on the brake pedal when the vehicle is running by the remote starter before turning the ignition on with a key, the remote starter will immediately shut down. (i.e., you cannot drive the vehicle until the ignition is turned on with a key.)
   
• Automatic HEAT/AC Activation: Just leave your climate control settings on where you want them when parking the vehicle, and the system will automatically turn them on after you activate the remote starter.
