• In-Vehicle Programming
  Required: 2 Ford OEM keys or aftermarket OEM-equivalent replacement keys are required for in-vehicle, system-to-vehicle programming. Over-the-counter cloned key replacements will not work. You must have 2 keys to the vehicle that have been separately programmed to the vehicle's anti-theft system. a.k.a. Ford SecuriLock® passive anti-theft system (PATS keys).
   
• No Computer Programming Required
  No vehicle-specific computer programming or manual downloads. Just go straight from delivery to your Ford Explorer for installation.
   
• Plug-In T-Harness Installation
  3 plugs to vehicle T-harness Installation: 2 plug-in connections behind the vehicle's ignition cylinder and 1 at the vehicle's OBD2 port.
   
• No OBD2 Port Blocking

  If the brake pedal is stepped on before the ignition is turned on with the key, the remote starter will immediately shut down.
   
• Ford OEM Hood-Pin Monitoring
  The system will not activate when the vehicle's hood is open and will immediately shut down if the hood is opened while the vehicle is running by the remote starter. The vehicle must be equipped with an OEM hood-pin switch (but not required for operation) for this safety feature to be active.
