Installing a DiY Remote Starter into a 2015 to 2020 Ford Edge in 6 Easy Steps:

Step 1: Unplug the gateway plug from the rear of the vehicle's gateway module and plug it into the T-harness:

Step 2: Replace the vehicle's gateway plug with the plug from the T-harness:

Step 3: Plug the blue plug from the T-harness into the blue plug on the remote starter module:

Step 4: Turn the system on: Turn the ignition ON. When the green LED on the remote starter module turns OFF, turn the ignition OFF:

Step 5: Test Remote Start Activation: Exit the vehicle, close all doors, and press LOCK 3X on your Ford Smart-Key FOB:

Step 6: Secure the module and harness up under the dash using the supplied zip ties. DONE!

Ford Edge Remote Start System Features:

• Activate this system by pressing your Ford's OEM keyless entry remote's lock button 3 times: The distance at which you will be able to activate the remote starter will be the same distance that you can remotely lock and unlock your vehicle's doors now.
