• Ford Factory Remote FOB Activation: You activate this system by pressing LOCK 3 times (with horn beep) on your OEM keyless entry remote OR by pressing the LOCK/UNLOCK/LOCK sequence (without horn beep). Choice provided during checkout. Settings cannot be changed after installation.

• Brake Pedal Monitoring for Safety & Security: If you step on the brake pedal when the vehicle is running by the remote starter BEFORE the ignition is turned on with a key, the remote starter will immediately shut down.
   
• Automatic HEAT/AC Activation: Just leave your climate control settings on where you want them when parking the vehicle, and the system will automatically turn them on after you activate the remote starter.
   
• Active Key-Takeover: The engine will not shut down when the driver's door is opened.
   
• Open-Hood Monitoring for Safety & Security: The remote starter cannot be activated when the hood is open, and it would shut down if the hood was opened when the vehicle was running by the remote starter (the vehicle must be equipped with a factory-installed hood-pin switch for this feature to work).

Depending on which remote package you choose, you can boost the system to get anywhere from 1300 to over 2000' of range.
