SYSTEM DETAILS:

• 100% In-Vehicle Programming: NO computer, internet access, module updates or downloads, or dealer programming needed. Go straight from delivery to installation.
   
• Just 1 key to your vehicle is all that's required to program this system to your vehicle: Basically, once you get the 1 plug plugged into the vehicle and the vehicle's plug plugged into the T-harness, then perform the module activation procedure, and with the T-harness plugged into the remote starter module, you program the system to your vehicle: Turn the ignition ON with the key; as soon as you see the LED on the module start flashing blue, you turn the ignition off for a few seconds, then you turn the ignition back ON again, and this time the LED turns yellow; after 5 seconds, you turn the ignition OFF, remove the key, and you're done! Test remote start activation.

• 100% Plug-In T-Harness Installation: No wire cutting or splicing. 1 plug to your vehicle is all that's required to install this system into your vehicle.
   
• Open-Hood Monitoring for Safety & Security: The remote starter cannot be activated when the hood is open, and it would shut down if the hood was opened when the vehicle was running by the remote starter. Your Ford SD MUST be equipped with a factory-installed hood-pin switch for this feature to work AND to enable the remote starter to activate. See photo tech-tip precaution below.
   
• Works Using Your OEM RKE (Remote Keyless Entry) Remotes: Pressing LOCK 3 times (w/Horn beep ON) on your OEM remote will activate the remote starter, OR, upon request, we can program it for you to activate by pressing the LOCK/UNLOCK/LOCK sequence (w/o Horn beep OFF). Option choice provided during checkout. Settings cannot be changed after installation (unless you send the control module back to us).
   
• Horn Honk OFF During Activation Option: We can program it for you to activate by pressing the LOCK/UNLOCK/LOCK sequence so the vehicle's horn won't beep when activating the remote starter. Option provided during checkout. Settings cannot be changed after installation (unless you send the control module back to us).
   
• Remote Start Range: Since you use your factory keyless entry remotes to activate the system, the range will be the same as the distance that you can currently lock & unlock your vehicle's doors from using your factory remote(s).
   
• Vehicle-Specific Factory Fit T-Harness: No wires or extra plugs to sort through that are left over and not used, meant for other Ford vehicles. This provides an easier-to-understand installation and a cleaner, more professional-looking install when finished. The plugs on the provided T-harness have just the connection you use for your specific vehicle, nothing else.
   
• Vehicle-Specific Step-by-Step Installation Guide: A clear & concise illustrated step-by-step installation guide that will walk you through every step of the installation. Written by professional installers for the DIY installer.
   
• Installation Information: 1 plug from the vehicle, called the gateway connector, found plugged in directly behind the vehicle's OBD2 diagnostic connector located on the lower right edge below the driver's dash, is unplugged and plugged into the system's T-harness. Then there's an identical plug from the T-harness that replaces your vehicle's gateway connector, and you plug this in where you removed the vehicle's connector, and that's pretty much it as far as installation goes. The rest is just the system activation procedure and system-to-vehicle programming, which involves just pressing the programming button on the module and turning the ignition ON & OFF at specific times (details in the step-by-step installation manual), and you're done (besides securing the harness and zip-tying it and the remote starter module up under the dash). Zip ties are included.

SYSTEM FEATURES AND BENEFITS:

• 6 Choices of Remote Start Run Times Option: 15-Minute Remote Start Run Time (default): The system will automatically shut down after 15 minutes, OR you can shut it down sooner the same way you activated it. Settings cannot be changed after installation. Choices provided during checkout.
   
• 2 Choices of Remote Start Activation Option: You can activate this system only 1 of 2 ways: either by pressing LOCK 3 times (w/Horn beep) on your OEM remote (default setting) or by pressing the LOCK/UNLOCK/LOCK sequence (w/o Horn beep). Settings cannot be changed after installation. Choices provided during checkout.
   
• Automatic HEAT/AC Activation: Just leave your climate control settings where you want them when parking the vehicle, and the system will automatically turn them on within 10 seconds after you activate the remote starter.
   
• Active Key-Takeover: The engine will not shut down when the driver's door is opened, so you won't have to restart the vehicle again with your key every time after you remote start it. Once you enter the vehicle, you turn the ignition ON, and when you step on the brake to shift the vehicle into gear, the remote starter automatically turns OFF, but the vehicle remains running and goes back to normal operation.
   
• Brake Pedal Monitoring for Safety & Security: If you step on the brake pedal when the vehicle is running by the remote starter BEFORE the ignition is turned on with a key, the remote starter will immediately shut down, and you will have to restart the vehicle with the key.
   
• Open-Hood Monitoring for Safety & Security: The remote starter cannot be activated when the hood is open, and it would shut down if the hood was opened when the vehicle was running by the remote starter. • "Red-Carpet" Warranty Coverage: Even though it's highly unlikely you would ever need warranty service for one of our systems, once one of our techs determines that you need a replacement, we will send out the replacement you need within 48 hours with a pre-paid return package for the part we are replacing, at no expense to you; all shipping costs are covered under your warranty!

• 45-Day Returns: The system can be returned within 45 days from the date of delivery for no reason, provided the system is in the exact same delivery condition as received, including everything, manuals, and internal & external packaging (shipped back in the same box as received). Due to the sensitivity of all automotive aftermarket electronics, any signs of an attempt at installation (scratches to the module, labels removed or damaged, dirt or grim smudges, etc.) will void the return option; only technical support and warranty coverage will be provided.
